    Answer.

If you’ve lost your job and find yourself in the position of having to file for unemployment compensation insurance for the first time, or for the first time in quite some time, particularly at a time of high stress such as losing your job, the application process can seem confusing to you.

There are three methods to file for your unemployment compensation in California. The first and likely the easier method, which will get your checks to you more quickly and keep you from having to wait in a line is to file online.

    California Job Openings

The fastest way to apply for unemployment compensation in California, as in many other states will be by filing for your claim online using electronic means.
To file for unemployment in California you must have earned at least $1,300 in the highest quarter of your base period or have earned  $900 in the highest quarter of your base period and a total of at least 1.25 times the high quarter earnings.
To file your claim in California you will require:

       *Valid reason for unemployment.
*The last day that you worked

        * The preferred way to file for your unemployment is to file online. It prevents traveling, speeds your check along its way and permits you to also recertify as well as verify your job seeking online as well. To file for your unemployment online in the state of California, there are a few simple steps.
